Bourdon & Co. is pronounced bor-don its French for Bumble Bee. I am not French, although I do love French fries! I’ll explain the symbolism behind the bumble bee below! My name is Biancca Freck most call me Bee short! I am the lady behind the lens and the facilitator of capturing all things love and life with style and grace! My goal is to bring nothing but good vibes to which ever season of life we are celebrating. I know that investing in these moments are truly so sacred and special and I do not take for granted for one minute that this passion and gift I was given from God was to give them back to you through the way I see things! That is why I go with the tag line this is your story, my lens! I worked under Biancca Wallace photography for 5 years and recently changed my company name due to my own seasons of life of change and personal growth! I appreciate you taking the time to get to know me and my approach to capturing things! Once our paths cross, your stuck with me! Only teasing but I do aime to attract like minded folk and It does not fail that sometimes friendships are formed….I mean I am there with you through some of the most intimate moments of your life! I truly treat anyone I have the pleasure and honor to work with all the respect and will work my ass off to deliver. You get what you give.
the meaning:
I’ve always loved what the bee symbolizes [brightness, community, hard work, loyalty, personal empowerment.] The name came to me after my identical twin gifted me the Alex & Ani Bumble Bee Braclet back in 2017. I read the description and it fit me to a T! I like how it translates into what I do for a living. Fast forward few months it was late one night 2018 and was down a google rabbit hole of looking for alternative words to bumblebee and read BOURDON and it was born. ( It also reads similar to bourbon and I love a good bourbon especially around a fire with better company) I’m loyal hard working and all about providing you with that sweet honey of life and that’s your memories and passions served to you through photos. I love that photos give us that reminder of where we have come from. Hindsight is something I get when looking at photos and that is truly is The sweet honey of life realizing we are meant to go through what we endure cause it makes us stronger.
MOST IMPORTANTLY- & CO: The company aspect of my name is the most important part because I couldn’t do what I do without you. What I do is a collaboration of bringing your moments alive through the format of pictures.
my approach:
The COMPANY part of my business name holds the most meaning to this job that I feel so fortunate to do. We truly are a team working towards the same goal to enhance and create the most meaning through taking the time to slow down and capture the moments that are ever fleeting. My approach when working together is to provide a personal, intentional yet care-free good vibes to your elopement day, wedding day, your growing family, family at its current stage ect. Celebrating is so important in this crazy life and freezing time for you is my love language! I simply work to create the most meaning in whatever experience we find ourselves in so when you look back at these photos you took the time to invest in you are reminded of how far you have come and the emotions you felt!
the experience:
Im here for a good time! So let's make the most of it! I am ALWAYS down for an adventure, I actually prefer it that way! If we are conducting a shoot together and you want to go explore somewhere with your family, fiance or person I am game! Experiencing different places that are special to you and yours and seeing places with you has got to be hands down the best way to do the dang thing! Music is always on when your with me. My job in a sense is make you look good and feel good doing it so if you have the approach that you get what you give and you trust me then the recipe is there for success! Cheers!
